Spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reuben Abati is kind of
confused with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo's position on the Boko
Haram mess. Obasanjo had last year stated that Jonathan's government
shouldn't have allowed Boko Haram to grow but give it the 'Odi
treatment' at his early stage.
But now that the mistake has been made and Boko Haram has become a major
national problem, Obasanjo wants the federal government to adopt the
'Carrot and Stick' approach. It appears Abati is confused in this
regards.
