Boko Haram Leader Captured With Security Guards

A breakthrough came the way of security agents in their quest to defeat members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, with the arrest of one of the sect’s deadly leaders, Hassan Pagi BUKAR.

He was captured in the residence of a 2003-2007 member of the House of Representatives (names withheld). The Boko Haram leader was, according to reports, arrested along with the security guard of the erstwhile lawmaker.

Authorities of the University of Benin, Edo state have faulted the claim made by one of its Professors who announced that he had discovered a drug for the cure of HIV/AIDS.

On Tuesday, Professor Isaiah Ibeh, the Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences at the University told newsmen that the herbal drug had undergone “series of successful tests” and it would “permanently take care of what over time seems to have defied all solutions”.

As reported in Vanguard, he said that the oral drug was made from plants extraction in Nigeria for the possible cure of the pandemic, HIV and AIDS virus adding that research on the project was started in 2010 which culminated in the development of “Deconcotion X (DX)–Liquid or Bioclean 11 for the cure of HIV and AIDS”.

UNIBEN Don Finds Cure For HIV/AIDS

After two years of rigorous work, history is being made here in Nigeria:

Prof. Isaiah Ibeh of the University of Benin, on Tuesday announced the development of a new drug that can ‘cure’ HIV and AIDS. Ibeh, who is the Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences of the university, confirmed to reporters in Benin that the drug had undergone “series of successful tests”. 

According to him, research on the project was started in 2010 and culminated in the development of “Deconcotion X (DX)–Liquid or Bioclean 11 for the cure of HIV and AIDS”. “The existing retroviral drugs are intervention drugs for the management of AIDS but our new discovery is a possible cure," he assured.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo faults Goodluck Jonathan’s Approach to Tackling Boko Haram in CNN Interview

Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, in a recent interview with CNN has said the President Goodluck Jonathan administration had not been reaching out enough to the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram. He said that Jonathan should adopt a a dual-track approach, using more of dialogue rather than just cracking down on the group.

“To deal with a group like that, you need a carrot and stick. The carrot is finding out how to reach out to them. When you try to reach out to them and they are not amenable to being reached out to, you have to use the stick,” he said during the interview.

Actress Yvonne Nelson in Secret Love Affair with Iyanya Again

That was what an insider source told Olufamous.com when he was asked to shed more light on the rumoured reconciliation of Kukere master, Iyanya and Ghanian actress, Yvonne Nelson.

My source further told me that there was never a "real relationship" between Iyanya and Tonto but that it was people who didn't know the whole truth that sold gossip to Yvonne which made her to call it quit with Iyanya last November.

I hear they both had a nice time together when Iyanya visited Ghana during Christmas and the couple are back together for good. As at the last check, Iyanya has uploaded Yvonne's photo as his DP on his BlackBerry.

According to the source, the governor who is suspected to be suffering from terminal disease had a relapse when he arrived in London from India, forcing his aides and relatives who accompanied him on the trip to take him back to his hospital bed in India.
